You have to go to a doctor, toenail fungus is actually pretty hard to get rid of! Normally you need to take anti-fungal pills, since creams alone can't reach under the nail where the fungus would be living. And you can only get those pills with a prescription. [Not to mention the fact that a doctor can tell you for sure whether it really is a fungus.]Blackening of the toe nail?
Try herbal treatments like: http://www.zetaclear.com?aid=488861

Very effective.
Toenail fungus is usually yellow or white. You can get rid of it with twice daily tea tree oil applications. However, black toenails are usually a sign of badly fitting shoes and is caused from blood seepage. Cut your toenails short, and make sure your shoes are not rubbing the ends of your toes. Runners get black toenails too.
