I have a really bad toe nail what do i do?

its really nasty.. it started it of just being a yellow part in the inside of my nail now its undiscribable.. its really big and thick.. kind of a crusty greenyellow color..I have a really bad toe nail what do i do?
Some of your symptoms could indicate that nail fungus (an example only) is going on.

Should i remove a torn toe nail?

Since it's the top part of the nail, you will be fine. It's perfectly safe. I will cut my toenails and sometimes I don't do it all of the way. If that happens and the nail is torn, I just rip it off.

I put my toe nail clipping in my Beef Stew ;The guys love it, but the ladies don't care for the smell after cooking all day.

Yeah. Most kids lose a toenail or fingernail at least once during their childhood. When I was a kid, grocery store doors still opened like regular doors... lost count of the number of times I walked into a grocery store wearing flip flops or sandals, opened the door, and mangled that big toe, ripping the nail right off... must've happened at least 3 times. Then there was the time I tried to pedal an exercise bike with my hands... got my hand caught in the round thing where the chain goes... sawed off the tip of my finger and ripped the fingernail off, too.





I'm 45 now and have all my toenails and the rescued tip of my finger was sewn back on and the nail grew back there, too.

Well since it's in the winter I think a nice deep red would look nice, also depends on the color of your shirt.

rubyish brown is VERY in right now.. i have it on right now... umm if that's a little too bold.. cuz for some people it is.. i always like going with a light pink.. it looks sweet =] i'm blonde and skinny too.. the reddish might go well with the white though.. it brings a little BAM to the shoe lol.. know what i mean??

Don't worry about it falling off. You're better off getting rid of it than getting it infected. Besides, it will grow back anyway. I had the same thing happen about a year ago. I had forgotten to trim my toenails, and I came down hard on my right foot. Ended up splitting my big-toe nail right acroos the middle. Tried to tape in place for a couple of days with a bandaid, but it didn't work. Had to clip the entire front half of it off. Sucked, but I was glad I did.Have jammed big toe playing tennis. Nail is turning gray. What can I do to prevent nail falling off?
It will probably fall off-it will be really painful but in the end its best as a new one will grow back





Until then, make sure the toe is clean and limit sport. When the nail falls off, do not fiddle or pick at it and let it come off in its own sweet time.
