Need a vet call for this one. If you mean the whole nail is literally just falling off, your dog could have lupus, or one of a few other serious illnesses.I have a black schnauzer and his toe nails have been falling off ?
Take the bag of food in that you're currently feeding and have the dog checked up for health issues. Your vet may know immediately if something is missing in his food, or if he's got a problem with chemicals.
Take your dog to the vet and find out what is going on with him/her.
First go to the Vet
MY OPTION, has to do with his diet. He needs more calcium.
