help he is 5 and it hurts just found it earlier, and the doctor is closed the weekend what can i do to help him ,he has school on monday and he has to go its the first day plus he has to wear sneakers, so its a bit red and hubby thinks it might even be infected, how can that be i would have known that by now i bath him every day and he has not complained once until tonight, he was putting on shoes and he said oh my bad toe well then it was on he was crying like you where gonna kill him just to look at it or touch it please help My 5yr old has a in grown toe nail?
i have had severe ingrown toe nails and the best thing you can do is make him an Epsom salt foot bath and try and make him stay off it.
i hope you are able to switch to sandals for even one day because the sneaker will make his feet hot and get more infected.My 5yr old has a in grown toe nail?
He should be able to wear a sandal if at all possible for now.
