Lost big toe nail, info needed?

I just lost my big toe nail to either a fungus, a crack, or both. I just lost it a while ago. I wanna know if.





1. How long will it take to grow back?





2. Will the skin be sensitive?

if its a fungus you would be lucky for it to go as the fungus will remain in the skin - BUT you have an ideal opportunity while the nail is off to bash the hell out of it with topical antifunguls, even if it wasnt fungus do it anyway.





the skin will be sensitive for a couple of days, then the area will harden over.

My mom had her big toe nail removed a few years ago b/c of stubbing it and an infection grew. Yah, pretty gross. Anyway, it took quiet a while to grow back, it was about a year to fully grow back. It's really nice and isn't infected or anything. He toe wasn't too sensitive, she was just concerned and paranoid that something would rip it off. It looked kinda weird growing back, but it didn't bother her at all.
