Ingrown toe nail shall i leave it?

HI people another question what it is i have had a ingrown toenail for a while i hear things like you can get septisemia, gang green etc what it is i clean it every day and i bave it and its beginging to look alot better shall i give it a couple of weeks before seeing a doctor???Ingrown toe nail shall i leave it?
If the infection is getting better and it the pain is easing off then don't worry about seeing a doctor.





Bathe and clean it daily with warm salty water (saline) and keep it covered.





I am having the same problem at the moment and this is working for me.





Septicaemia and gang green are extremely rare from ingrown toenails and usually occur when an infection is completely out of control. Unless you are immunocompromised you body can handle a minor infection.

its not going to go away. they dont just heal like normal wounds. you have to go to the doctor and theyll cut it out. they slice open the skin a little and dig out the nail.
The dr wont do much unless he really thinks he has to because the op is harsh n toe nail usually grows back same, soak ur foot in water n cut it urself, clean it regularly to keep infection away.
Don't just leave it. i did that and it is now really painful and i'm on a 10 week waitng list for an operation go see ur Dr if it gets worse.

It will not go it's growing inwards. Go to the doctor, it may save you an operation in the future, even amputation!?.
soak it everyday in warm water. itll eventually go away.
